If you’re an international student and have received an acceptance letter from the University of Lynchburg, you may be eligible for an academic scholarship. There is no need to apply for a separate scholarship; scholarships are automatically awarded based on your calculated grade point average. The scholarship letter will specify the academic standards you need to maintain in order to renew your scholarship. If you meet the standards in your first year, you can continue to receive the scholarship until you finish your studies at the University.
Please note that international students are only eligible for one scholarship from the University. Additionally, the University of Lynchburg does not provide loans to students. International students are required to demonstrate their financial ability to pay the cost of attendance balance (tuition and housing, including room and meals minus scholarship) before being fully admitted.
International scholarships are available only to non-U.S. citizens and can range from $22,000 – $31,000.
Housing (Room Plus Meals) Requirements
The admissions process requires that students must be at least 17 years old. Any international student who applies must reside on campus and participate in the full meal plan, unless they choose to live locally with a family member. In case any student decides not to live on campus and take advantage of the meal plan, their scholarship amount will be reduced.
