Guaranteed Merit Scholarships or Automatic Merit Scholarships
The University of Lynchburg offers a wide range of scholarships and awards. All full-time admitted students are automatically considered for academic scholarships to the University of Lynchburg — no separate scholarship application is required.
Merit scholarships for 2024-25 range from $16,000-$22,000 annually and are renewable with continued full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress.

*Weighted GPA is used to determine scholarship eligibility. GPA on a 100 point scale is converted to a 4.0 scale.
You may submit your SAT or ACT score to be combined with your GPA to increase your scholarship; however, it is only likely to change if your SAT is above 1200-1300 or ACT is 25-28. You can see if your scholarship will change by adding your test scores using our Net Price Calculator.
Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship
In addition to the awards that you may automatically qualify for, visual and performing arts scholarships are also available, with awards ranging from $1,000 to $3,000.
An application to compete must be submitted, and only invited, admitted students are eligible to participate.
