ABOUT AGE

Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) is a bridge for both international and domestic institutions to establish a partnership with Universitas Airlanggga. The office has been managed by young, energetic and competent people since it was founded in 2010 as International Office and Partnership (IOP) Universitas Airlangga. It was also the year when Universitas Airlangga announced a 5-year plan to become one of the most prominent world-class universities.

Partnerships with other universities or institutions both at national and international level have been constantly developed. Such partnerships are vital for the university development, as a tool to demonstrate UNAIR’s contributions in education, research and community service at the global level.

At international level, AGE has forged partnerships with 149 universities or institutions in Asia Pacific, America, Europe, Australia and Africa. The partnerships are established in forms of student, lecturer, staff exchange programs and joint researches. These collaborations are developed to address domestic problems as well as to solve international problems.

Airlangga Global Engagement can offer powerful aids for the development of the university and for actualizing the goal of becoming a world-class university by mainly providing international and national academic mobility & overseeing and evaluating international and national partnerships and collaborations.
