TEPCO Memorial Foundation
TEPCO Memorial Foundation provides funding such as research grants, support for international technological interaction and scholarship benefits with the aim of promoting creative basic research in the electrical and energy fields, international contribution to these research areas and cultivating young researchers. Eligibility for research grants or support for technological interaction is stipulated as basic research in diverse fields that has the aim of improving technology pertaining to industry and lifestyle in electricity-related fields on a wide scale. Further, eligibility for scholarship is stipulated as a student who has a volition to utilize their specialist subject studied at graduate school for the benefit of society in the future. These are all decided through wide recruitment and strict and fair judgement by the review committee.

Research Grant (Basic Research)
| Purpose of Grant | To provide excellent young academic researchers with opportunities to quickly produce results in basic research and opportunities for success in the world. |

Research Grant (General Research)
| Purpose of Grant | To find important or interesting challenges pertaining to technology in the electrical / energy industries and to inspire interest in technology in this area widely among persons related to the field. |

Support for International Technological Interaction
| Purpose of Grant | Support for international technological interaction including research results presentations at international conferences and meetings for joint research etc. with the aim of improving technology pertaining to industry and lifestyle in electricity-related fields on a wide scale. |

| Application Qualifications | A researcher or a graduate school student affiliated with Japanese (domestic) university or graduate school or equivalent research institution. |

| Amount of Grant | Amount as assessed by the foundation based on application details (partial travel expense / conference registration fee / accommodation expense) |

Scholarship
| Purpose of Benefit | To contribute to the cultivation of excellent personnel who will be responsible for future academics and industry in the electrical / energy fields. |
