Purpose

　The purpose of the foundation is to give a financial support to those foreign students studying in Japan at their own expenses having strong academic zeal and good scholastic record but sustaining difficulties in continuing the study due to financial reasons.
The foundation hopes that its contribution by helping these students may serve to enrich human resources for strengthening international exchange and friendship.

Eligibility requirements

1. Graduate school students who conduct research to contribute to international cooperation.

2. Students who studying in degree programs in English.

3. Short term students under an inter-university exchange agreement.

All the above applicants must be non-Japanese nationals and must be those studying at their own expenses.
