SEALC Tuition Scholarship (University of Wisconsin)

This scholarship is offered by the Southeast Asian Language Council (SEALC) to support students who wish to undertake synchronous online language study in Southeast Asian languages.

What’s Offered

• Partial tuition reimbursement for selected courses in Southeast Asian languages delivered as synchronous distance learning.

• Up to five awards available; priority is given to students not affiliated with the National Resource Center.

Who Can Apply

• Students enrolled at an accredited institution who plan to study a Southeast Asian language via synchronous online coursework.

• Applicants must demonstrate interest in Southeast Asian languages and show intention to complete the course successfully.

How It Works

• The scholarship covers a portion of the tuition costs for the selected language course; the student is responsible for any remaining tuition and fees.

• Awardees must complete the course term and meet performance expectations set by the host institution.
