RAEng Research Fellowships

The RAEng Research Fellowships support early-career engineering researchers to become future leaders by funding ambitious, independent research programmes.

What you get:

• Up to £625,000 over five years to support your research project (at 80% of full economic costs)

• Mentoring from a senior Academy Fellow to help with research and career development

• Reduced teaching & administrative duties so you can dedicate more time to research

Eligibility:

• PhD awarded (or unconditionally approved) within the last four years (some extensions allowed for career breaks)

• Research must be hosted at a UK higher education or eligible research institution

• Open to researchers worldwide who meet the host requirements
