Our Purpose
Leaving the country of their birth and overcoming the difficulties of living in another country, with a different language and culture-- such an experience has a profound effect on young people and their future lives. Cultivating their ability to communicate ideas and achieve mutual understanding with people who hold different views will unquestionably contribute to future world peace and international cooperation. It was with this goal, of educating young people to realize such attainments, that the INOAC International Education and Scholarship Foundation was established.
Aims
The Foundation's aims are to provide scholarship assistance to Japanese nationals for university study overseas and foreign nationals for study in Japanese universities, to promote mutual understanding between Japan and other countries, and to contribute to the development of human resources that can make a positive impact on the world.
To achieve these aims, the Foundation undertakes the following operations:
Operations
1) Provision of scholarships to Japanese students for study abroad
2) Provision of scholarships to foreign students for study in Japan
3) Other tasks required to achieve the Foundation's aims

Mar 10, 2012 Total number of scholarship students surpasses 250
Apr 1, 2013 Designation changed from incorporated foundation to public interest incorporated foundation
Mar 30, 2018 32th term scholarship students are certified on March 30th, 2018. Total number of scholarship students surpasses 316.
Mar 16, 2021 35th term scholarship students are certified on March 16th, 2021. Total number of scholarship students surpasses 350.
Jul 5, 2021 Soichi Inoue appointed Managing Director
Mar 19, 2022 36th term scholarship students are certified on March 19th, 2022. Total number of scholarship students surpasses 364.
