HRH The Prince of Wales Scholarships for Small Island Nations

These Climate Action Scholarships are for Masters and PhD students from small island nations. Working with His Royal Highness, the initiative was developed by Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, Professor Stephen Toope, to recognise the disproportionate effects of climate change on Small Island Developing States and will support students on courses that engage with sustainability, helping them develop their existing skills and knowledge to address the severe effects of climate change in their countries. They are tenable at any college.

  • Applicants must have nationality and residency from any one of the countries listed here
  • Courses must be related to sustainability and climate action

How to apply

No separate application is required for this scholarship, only the application for admission to the University of Cambridge, which must be submitted by the funding deadline specific to your course (please refer to the Postgraduate Course Directory)
