Graduate Scholarship for Emerging Leaders – Southeast Asia (UML)
Description
This scholarship program supports international students from Southeast Asia who are admitted into master’s degree programs at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
What’s Offered
Up to USD $20,000 in scholarship funding
Disbursed as USD $5,000 per year over four semesters for most programs
For those in the Master of Public Health program, the support can extend up to $25,000 over five semesters
Eligibility Criteria
Must be admitted to a full-time, on-campus master’s program at UML
Classified as an international student for tuition purposes
Preference given to candidates demonstrating commitment to science, health, technology, leadership, and development in Southeast Asia
Requirements & Conditions
Maintain good academic standing throughout the degree
Must take at least two in-person campus courses each semester (or equivalent on-campus requirement)
As part of the application, you should articulate how your future work could benefit Southeast Asian nations
Timeline & Deadlines
Priority application deadline for fall enrollment: January 15
Priority application deadline for spring enrollment: October 15
Applications submitted after these deadlines may be considered if funds remain available
