APIA Scholarship
INTRODUCTION
APIA Scholars provides scholarships to underserved Asian Pacific Islander American (APIA) Students, with a special focus on those who live at or below the poverty line; are the first in their families to attend college; are representative of the APIA community’s diversity (geographically and ethnically), especially those ethnicities that have been underrepresented on college campuses due to limited access and opportunity; and have placed a strong emphasis on community service and leadership as well as solid academic achievement.
The APIA Scholars scholarship application allows applicants to apply for up to two scholarships: the APIA Scholarship and the AANAPISI Scholarship, if eligible. Applicants can only be awarded one scholarship. Both scholarships are for the 2024-2025 academic year, to be used beginning in the Fall 2024 term.
APIA Scholarship
The APIA Scholarship is a national scholarship open to all incoming and returning APIA undergraduate college students at any accredited U.S. college or university.
Scholarship awards range from one-time $2,500 scholarships to multi-year $20,000 awards.
AANAPISI Scholarship
The Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution (AANAPISI) Scholarship Program is a collaboration between APIA Scholars, AANAPISIs, and the communities they serve to provide scholarships, expand institutional capacity, and mobilize local resources to help foster economic development.
The AANAPISI Scholarship is available annually to students attending APIA Scholars AANAPISI partner campuses. View qualifying AANAPISI partner campuses.
