Video Pitch Contest 2025 – “Voices of Mutirão”

The Video Pitch Contest 2025, organized by Transformative Urban Coalitions, invites young innovators and changemakers worldwide to submit a 60-second video that highlights how collective action and capacity-building are shaping better, more sustainable cities. The contest is inspired by the spirit of “Mutirão” — a Brazilian word that means community collaboration for a shared goal — reflecting the power of people coming together to create lasting urban change.

What to Do

Participants are asked to create a one-minute video that showcases a community initiative, partnership, or urban project that contributes to sustainability, inclusion, and resilience. Along with the video, participants must submit a short 100–150 word description explaining their project’s purpose and impact.
Videos can be in English, Spanish, or Portuguese (with English subtitles or transcripts).

Deadline: 24 October 2025, 23:59 CEST.

Prizes and Recognition

• 1st Place: USD 800

• 2nd Place: USD 500

• 3rd Place: USD 300
  Winning videos will be showcased at the 7th Capacity-Building Hub during COP30 in Belém, Brazil, giving participants a global platform to share their vision. Winners will also receive access to an exclusive Transformative Communication Training to sharpen their storytelling and impact skills.
