Description
This is a fully funded opportunity designed for young scientists from developing countries (excluding Pakistan) who are pursuing a PhD in chemical and biological sciences. The fellowship takes place at the International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) in Karachi, Pakistan.
What You Get
Fellowship duration: between 6 and 12 months (depending on your research plan and ICCBS approval)
Monthly stipend to cover living expenses like food, housing, local transport, and minor health needs
Research support, supervisor & access to ICCBS labs and resources
Language of work: English
Who Is Eligible
Scientists aged 35 or younger (by end of the application year)
Hold a Master’s degree in a natural sciences discipline
Must be registered for a PhD in your home country (Sandwich option allowed)
Must be a national of a developing country (not holding residency or visa status in Pakistan or any developed country)
Must provide a “Preliminary Acceptance Letter” from ICCBS and a “No Objection / Registration Certificate” from your home institution
Evidence of proficiency in English if your previous degree was not taught in English
