Description
The KNB Scholarship is a development partnership scholarship offered by the Indonesian government to support international students from developing countries in pursuing higher education in Indonesia.
Who Can Apply
Citizens of developing countries
Applicants for Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral programs
Must meet age limits per degree level (e.g. 25 for undergraduate, 35 for master’s, 40 for doctorate)
Strong academic record, proof of English proficiency, and required recommendation letters
What’s Covered
Full or partial tuition waiver
Living stipend, research and book allowances
Travel costs (round-trip airfare), local transportation, and health insurance
Pre-study Indonesian language or preparatory programs when needed
Procedure & Requirements
Download the scholarship invitation letter and get it validated by the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate
Submit required documents (transcripts, certificates, proof of English, recommendation letters)
Selection may include interviews and additional tests
Host universities in Indonesia will handle admission and supervision

Scholarship duration aligns with the standard length of your selected degree
Multiple Indonesian universities partner with the KNB program to host scholars
