Fully Funded Undergraduate Scholarships, National University of Singapore

National University of Singapore (NUS) is now offering scholarships for ASEAN (except Singapore) citizens that apply for undergraduate programs for the academic year of 2024.

Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?

High School students that are expected to graduate before mid-2024 or high school graduates that are citizens of ASEAN countries (except Singapore) that are applying for the National University of Singapore (NUS) undergraduate program for the academic year 2024.

What is the criteria of selection?

• Outstanding academic performance in High School
• Good records of co-curricular activities
• Strong leadership skills and potential
• English proficiency test with minimum results depending on the country of citizenship

What degrees are offered in this scholarship?

• All degrees offered in the undergraduate full-time program of the National University of Singapore (NUS)
• Double Degree program and Joint Degree program offered in National University of Singapore (NUS) undergraduate degree
• Concurrent Degree undergraduate program not including the Concurrent Degree in NUS Bachelor of Science and University of Melbourne Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

What are the scholarship benefits?

• Tuition fee after the reduction by Singapore Ministry of Education(MOE) tuition subsidy
• Living allowance given every year
• One-time computer allowance
• Yearly accommodation allowance

How long is the duration of scholarship?

• Scholarship will be given until the program finished by the awardee
• Scholarship will be stopped if the awardee did not show a good attitude during the course or receive under 3.5 (or equivalent) GPA

How to apply?

• Complete the undergraduate program admission process provided on the National University of Singapore (NUS) official admission website before the application deadline ends
• Submit the documents needed and pay the admission fee (including the taxes)
• Eligible applicants will automatically join the scholarship selection process without submitting separate application forms

How does the process of selection go?

• Eligible applicants that apply will be selected by the admission team based on the criteria and shortlisted
• Shortlisted applicants will receive an email from the admission team for interviews
• Interviewed applicants are obliged to submit documents to support academic and non-academic achievements
• Chosen applicants will be announced around mid-July

When is the deadline for application?

• Students that use Indonesian Ujian Nasional (UN), Vietnam National High School Graduation Examination, or Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) as qualifications deadline of application is on 4 February 2024
• Students that use the other qualifications methods mentioned above are required to apply before 3 March 2024.
• Deadline for document completion is three days after the application deadline

Additional Information

• Awardees are required to accept the Ministry of Education subsidy to receive the benefits of the scholarship.
• Students that receive the Ministry of Education Subsidy are required to work under Singaporean registered companies for at least three years immediately after graduation. For Dentistry and Medication, students are required to work under the Singapore Ministry of Health for 5-6 years. The university will not guarantee awardees’ employment after graduating.
• Students that accept this scholarship are not allowed to receive other scholarships, fellowships, bursaries, grants, awards, or allowance without the permission of the University
