Douglass-O’Connell Global Internship (CIEE)

What it is
An eight-week summer internship program in Dublin, Ireland, that combines hands-on work experience, academic learning, and cultural exchange. The program is co-sponsored by CIEE, Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs, and the African American Irish Diaspora Network (AAIDN). It honors the legacies of Frederick Douglass and Daniel O’Connell, focusing on social justice, equality, leadership and entrepreneurship.

What you’ll gain

Who can apply

• Undergraduate students (freshman, sophomore, or junior) from U.S. institutions

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents

• Preference for students who are Pell Grant eligible
