Doha Institute for Graduate Studies Scholarships

The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) offers fully funded scholarships to attract outstanding Master’s and PhD students, both Qatari nationals and international applicants, across the fields of social sciences, humanities, public policy, economics, and related areas.

What’s Offered

• Full or near-full tuition fee coverage for eligible programmes.

• Free on-campus accommodation (for international students) plus a monthly living stipend.

• Health insurance and, in many cases, two round-trip airfare tickets (arrival and graduation) for international students.

• Access to a research-intensive environment in Doha, with a diverse international student body and strong faculty support.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to applicants of all nationalities, including Qatari citizens, residents and international students.

• Applicants must hold (or be about to complete) an appropriate bachelor’s degree for a Master’s programme, or a relevant master’s/doctoral qualification for a PhD.

• Good academic standing and strong motivation required; international students may benefit even with no English test if their prior degree was taught in English.

• Scholarships are not available for executive programmes, diploma or certificate tracks.

Process & Structure

• Applicants must first apply for admission to the chosen Master’s or PhD programme at DI.

• Once admitted, eligible students receive a scholarship application form and submit required documentation.
