What’s Offered

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship, you must:

  • Be domiciled in Africa, India, or one of the selected Commonwealth countries

  • Be classed as an overseas (international) student for fee purposes

  • Hold an offer to start a full-time Master’s or MRes programme at the University of Nottingham in the academic year specified (usually starting in autumn)

  • Be planning to study in one of these faculties:

    • Engineering

    • Medicine and Health Sciences

    • Science

    • Social Sciences

  • Not eligible if:

    • You are a current student or graduate of the University of Nottingham

    • You have previously studied and been awarded a degree outside your home country

    • You are currently studying in the UK

How to Apply

  • First get an offer to study a full-time Master’s or MRes programme at the University of Nottingham

  • Once you have the offer, apply for the Developing Solutions Scholarship through the university’s scholarship application system

  • Follow the scholarship application requirements after receiving your admission offer
