Description
The Tomorrow’s Leaders Program is a fully funded undergraduate scholarship and leadership development programme for outstanding students from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It helps young leaders gain American-style university education, leadership training, and real-world experience.
What’s Offered
Full undergraduate scholarship covering tuition and fees for up to four years
University housing and health insurance included
Monthly living stipend and textbook allowance
Visa and residency support and two round-trip tickets home each year
Laptop provided for study use
Leadership workshops, mentorship, internships, and community-engagement activities
Opportunity to study one semester in the United States (selected students)
Who Can Apply?
Students must be citizens of certain MENA countries, including:
Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, West Bank/Gaza, and Yemen
Applicants must be socio-economically deserving with financial documentation
Strong academic achievement and leadership potential are expected
Applicants must have good English skills (initial online test; TOEFL/IELTS may be required later)
How It Works
You complete an online application with personal statement, school transcripts, recommendations, and financial details
Shortlisted applicants go through interviews and English proficiency checks
Partner universities (American University of Beirut, American University in Cairo, Lebanese American University) then review candidates for placement
Selected students begin their studies and participate in leadership development activities throughout the programme
Important Things to Know
The scholarship is highly competitive
This opportunity includes both academic study and leadership training
To stay in good standing, students must maintain required academic performance and participate in programme activities
The programme builds a network of alumni and supports leadership growth beyond graduation
