Description
The Japan Africa Dream Scholarship (JADS) is a fully funded scholarship initiative supported by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Government of Japan. It is designed to empower young African professionals to pursue Master’s degree programs in development-related fields, with the goal of strengthening Africa’s future leadership and institutional capacity.
What’s Offered
Full tuition coverage at approved universities
Monthly living allowance to cover housing and daily expenses
Round-trip airfare between the home country and study destination
Health insurance for the duration of the program
Travel allowance and additional academic-related support
Eligibility Criteria
Open to citizens of African Development Bank member countries
Applicants must have an excellent academic background
Relevant professional or development-related experience is strongly preferred
Commitment to contribute to Africa’s social and economic development after graduation
