The ADB–Japan Scholarship Program (ADB–JSP) at The University of Tokyo offers full financial support for outstanding students from ADB member developing countries to pursue a master’s degree at one of Asia’s top universities. The program aims to foster future leaders who will contribute to the sustainable development of their home countries.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be citizens of an ADB borrowing member country.
Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with an excellent academic record.
Have at least two years of full-time professional work experience after obtaining a university degree.
Be under 35 years old at the time of application (in most cases).
Agree to return to their home country after completing their studies to contribute to its development.

Apply first for admission to a master’s program at the University of Tokyo.
Indicate interest in being considered for the ADB–JSP scholarship when submitting your application.
Submit required documents including transcripts, recommendation letters, proof of employment, and an essay outlining development goals.
Only candidates offered admission will be nominated for the scholarship.
