Description
Erasmus Mundus Catalogue – Joint Master’s Programmes (EMJMD)
The Erasmus Mundus Catalogue showcases high-quality, integrated master’s programmes developed by consortia of universities across Europe and beyond. These programmes enable students to study in at least two or three countries and often lead to a joint or multiple degree qualification.
What’s Offered
Scholarships covering tuition fees, living allowance, and travel and installation costs for selected students.
A truly international study experience — you may spend semesters in multiple countries, work with partner institutions, and gain exposure to diverse academic systems.
High-quality teaching, research-oriented curricula, and strong global networking and career opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold, or be about to hold, a first university degree (or equivalent) before the master’s programme starts.
Open to students from around the world; eligibility may differ slightly based on whether you are from a programme-country or partner-country.
Responsibilities include fulfilling mobility requirements — studying in different countries during your course duration.
Process & Structure
Choose up to three programmes from the Erasmus Mundus Catalogue that align with your interests.
Submit the application to each programme via the university consortium before their deadlines (typically in October–January).
Selection is highly competitive, based on academic excellence, motivation, programme fit and sometimes work experience.
Upon acceptance, students begin the programme in the following academic year, moving through partner institutions as defined by the consortium.
Deadline
Application deadlines vary by programme and intake year — typically between October and January prior to the start of the master’s.
