Aurora Tech Award

The Aurora Tech Award is an annual global prize designed to empower and elevate female-led tech startups. Founded by inDrive, the award supports women founders from around the world who are building innovative, scalable, and impact-driven technology ventures.

What’s Offered

• A substantial prize fund—2025’s edition offers up to US$50,000 for first place, with additional prizes for second and third place.

• Mentorship from industry experts, access to global networks of investors and strategic partners, and high-visibility support for shortlisted and finalist startups.

• The chance to join a cutting-edge community of female tech founders and accelerate business growth through exposure and resources.

Eligibility Criteria

• The startup must be founded or co-founded and led by a woman.

• The venture must be less than five years old, have a functional prototype or early market traction, and have raised no more than approximately US$6 million in funding (depending on the edition).

• Open globally to startups across all sectors of technology, with a special focus on emerging markets.

Process & Structure

• Applications open annually—e.g., the 2025 call opened on 12 August 2025 and closed on 12 November 2025.

• After application, a multi-stage selection process reduces the field to top 100, then top 30, then finalists, culminating in the award ceremony in early spring the next year.

• Finalists participate in a mentorship programme and pitch their startups at a live award event before winners are announced.
