UNICEF Internship Programme

Description

The UNICEF Internship Programme offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the humanitarian and development sector. Interns contribute to UNICEF’s mission of advancing the rights and well-being of children around the world through meaningful projects across its global offices or through remote assignments.

Duration & Format

  • Internships typically last between 6 and 26 weeks

  • May be full-time or part-time, depending on project and location

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 2 years) from an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program

  • Strong academic performance and relevant skills

  • Proficiency in English, French, or Spanish; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage

What You’ll Do
Interns assist in projects related to research, data analysis, communications, policy, and program management. Each placement offers a unique chance to develop professional experience while contributing to global impact.
