Description
The Freeman Foundation International Internship provides SMCVT students with fully or partially funded summer internships in Seoul, South Korea or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The program combines hands-on professional experience, cultural immersion, and academic credit.
Key Features
Internships last eight weeks, typically during May–July, and count for four academic credits
Covers major costs such as internship placement fees, travel, housing, and related expenses
Includes cultural & networking events organized by local partners in each host city
Eligibility & Requirements
Open to students who are in sophomore or junior year
All majors welcome
Minimum GPA requirement: 3.0
Applicants must submit a completed form, resume, and two faculty references
Timeline
Application opens September 15
Deadline for Summer 2026 cycle: November 3
Internships take place the following May–July
