INSAIT Graduate Research Fellowship (INSAIT GRF)

The INSAIT Graduate Research Fellowship offers graduate students worldwide an opportunity for hands-on research under the mentorship of leading faculty at INSAIT, Sofia.

What you get:

• Fully funded 8–12 weeks of residency at INSAIT (on-site only); remote participation is not permitted.

• Monthly stipend of €2,000 plus accommodation provided.

• Travel and visa support included.

Who can apply:

• Master’s students currently enrolled or recent graduates.

• STEM majors: Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, etc.

• Applicants from underrepresented groups in STEM are strongly encouraged.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a mentor to define your project plan.

• Work on research tasks and aim to co-author papers or conference submissions.

• Deliver a final presentation and report through INSAIT’s seminar series.

How it works:

• You’ll apply online with CV, academic transcript or diploma, and a one-page motivation letter.

• Shortlisted applicants may undergo an online interview.

• Once selected, confirm participation within a given timeframe, and establish project scope with your mentor.
