The Karsh International Scholarship is a prestigious, merit- and need-aware award that fully supports outstanding international undergraduate students at Duke University. Established by Bruce A. and Martha L. Karsh in 2010, the scholarship seeks applicants with exceptional academic achievement, leadership potential, and financial need.
🎓 Scholarship Package
Full coverage of tuition, mandatory fees, on-campus housing, and meals for four years
Summer funding for up to three summers, including support for research projects, unpaid internships, and professional development

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Must be a scholar with non-U.S. citizenship—dual U.S./foreign citizens are not eligible
Must apply to Duke as a first-year undergraduate in the upcoming fall term
Cannot have previously earned a bachelor’s degree
Demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and financial need are required
Open to applicants from any academic discipline

No separate scholarship application is required—eligibility is assessed automatically through the Duke undergraduate admission and financial aid process
Applicants must complete admission and financial aid forms (e.g., CSS Profile) by the admissions deadline to be considered
